-A project to invest in Europes Northern Periphery
The main objective of the project is to establish mobile location information service, locally adapted for the integration of future and current web services with the use of mobile phones, as an added value to visitors in rural and remote areas.
The project will extend access to and provide the effective use of ICT as a means of developing tourism in the partner areas which have an abundance of cultural and natural resources but that are difficult to access and promote given the region’s rurality and peripherality.

Tourist Guides
Each partner will throughout the project work on localised modules of the TG4NP services.
By working on different localised modules in WP 3, we will be able to evaluate the results and produce an overall description on how to implement this service in other regions.

End conference
Our project is entering its final stage. The main objective of the project has been to establish mobile location information service and at the end conference we will present our results.
New Head of NPP Secretariat
The Northern Periphery Programme has appointed a new Head of Secretariat, Mr. Ole Damsgaard. Mr. Damsgaard will start his position on 12th February 2013.
